coach Laura HAll
Hi, I’m Laura
I’m (the other) Laura, and I wear a lot of hats (literally and figuratively). I’m an ER-turned-perioperative nurse, wilderness medicine instructor, trail running and adventure coach, and search and rescue volunteer. Collectively, that means I help people feel safe, confident, and capable in their outdoor pursuits, and sometimes, I’m the one patching them back together when things don’t go as planned.
I believe we can all do hard things, at our own pace. You don’t have to be the fastest or most experienced to get out there and have fun. You can try new things at any age and any stage. You might just need a little guidance, and that’s where I come in.
I know what it’s like to juggle long shifts, unpredictable schedules, and the desire to still have energy left for the mountains, and how easy it is, especially in healthcare and other high-stress roles, to pour into others until there’s nothing left. My coaching helps you fill your own tank. That means finding balance, building resilience, and showing up strong for yourself and the things (and people) you love most.
My goal? To help you discover what’s possible and feel grounded, fueled, and ready for adventure, both on shift and off. Whether you’re a nurse planning your next big trip, or an adventurer trying to figure out how to eat well during a 12-hour shift, I’ve got you.
At Elevated Pursuit Nutrition, my coaching focuses on supporting nurses and outdoor athletes through small-group nutrition, endurance, and mindset coaching, an intro to trail running course, performance nutrition cohorts, and 1:1 adventure logistics planning calls.
When I’m not nursing or coaching, you’ll find me chasing the perfect ski line, ridge run, or quaint mountain town coffee shop.
