EPN Base Camp brings you the best of our signature cohort experience at a lighter touchpoint and a more accessible price. This 7-month program is designed to help you confidently navigate maintenance, muscle-building, and fat-loss phases within a clear, supportive framework, without the higher price tag.
You’ll learn directly from EPN founders Laura Savino and Kate Brien, who will walk you step-by-step through our proven periodization system in a way that teaches you to think like a coach, apply the EPN framework to your own life, and finally connect why you’re tracking with how to reach your goals.
What You’ll Experience at Base Camp:
Each week, you’ll join Laura and Kate for a live call on Mondays at 11 AM Central (recordings available for replay) where we’ll teach + discuss one core concept connected to that month’s periodization phase.
You’ll follow a structured progression through every phase of the EPN method:
- Prep Phase - November | 7-Day Mini Course 
 When you enroll, you’ll gain immediate access to our 7-day mini course, which walks you through exactly how to action your data, using our exclusive EPN spreadsheet.
- Phase I – December | Maintenance Foundations 
 Lay the groundwork by learning how to identify and maintain your true maintenance calorie intake and lifestyle habits. You’ll stabilize nutrition, improve consistency, and get confident using the EPN spreadsheet, as well as applying the knowledge you gained in the mini-course.
- Phase II – January to March | Find Your Top End of Maintenance + Short Build 
 We’ll help you identify your upper maintenance range and, if appropriate, transition into a controlled build phase by teaching you how to optimize food intake for muscle gain without losing lifestyle balance.
- Phase III – April to June | Fat Loss Phase 
 Learn how to set up and execute an effective fat-loss phase using data-driven decision-making and biofeedback tracking. You’ll leave Base Camp having experienced all three major nutrition phases firsthand.

      This group is open to anyone ready to build structure, consistency, and confidence around nutrition, but it’s best suited for individuals who: - Have at least a basic familiarity with food tracking (you’ve tried before but never really knew the why). 
- Want guidance on how to use tracking strategically for your goals: maintenance, building, or fat loss. 
- Prefer learning in a larger group format with educational calls and flexible community support. 
- Are ready to put in a little elbow grease to apply the framework on their own. 
 If you’re brand new to tracking, you can still join, but expect a little bit of a learning curve!

      No. Base Camp, like our cohorts, is designed to teach you how to set and adjust your own macro targets using the EPN framework. While Laura and Kate will not be reviewing individual spreadsheets or food logs, you can post screenshots and ask questions in the community page, and join the live calls where we’ll provide feedback and guidance so you can learn how to make adjustments on your own. We want to teach you how to fish, not fish for you. Note: our coaches may assign macros in 1:1 coaching only.

      We recommend all Base Campers at least try TPA with the program; it’s essentially free with the discount! If you already have a training program that you love and want to continue, please let Kate or Laura know before you sign up. Who knows, you may find the warm-ups + activation work complement the program you’re already following!

      Our full cohorts are smaller, higher-touch environments where we personally review your data, spreadsheets, and biofeedback each week. Base Camp offers the same proven EPN framework and education, but in a larger group format where you’ll apply what you learn independently (with guidance from weekly calls and community Q&A). Education will be released every other week during Base Camp, and focuses on the essentials of our expertise at EPN. We do not provide specialized education during Base Camp (performance/menopause/fertility topics) like you may receive during a typical cohort experience.

      You’re welcome to join! We recommend completing the 7-Day Mini Course and watching our Intro to Tracking webinars before our first live call to make sure you’re comfortable navigating the EPN spreadsheet. This will give you a head start and help you make the most of the experience.

      By the end of Base Camp, you’ll have gone through maintenance, a short muscle-building phase, and a fat loss phase, and understand how to run those phases on your own. From there, you can choose to: - Transition into one of our higher-touch EPN cohorts for more individualized feedback, OR 
- Continue your journey independently using the tools and frameworks you’ve mastered in Base Camp
